Responsibilities and Qualifications
-Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
-Routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
-Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
-Ensure proper delivery of guest's special requests (i.e. extra pillows, additional preferences)
-Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make every appropriate service recovery gesture in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.
-Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, and counting/securing assigned bank.
-Must be able to multi-task, be detail oriented, and problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external guests.
-Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity while under pressure.
-Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments.
-Maintain the cleanliness of the hotel lobby and common areas.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
