Fundraising Director directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Director researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. The Davis Academy of Music is looking for an Event and Fundraising Co-Ordinator to schedule and plan events, as well as represent our organization to both current and potential clients. The Event and Fundraising Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the creating events for students at the academy as well as events for the public, renting spacing, responding to emails and phone calls, as well as meeting with potential donors to solicit funds for the growth of the academy.
The successful candidate will have experience in planning events and fundraising.
