Fundraising Director directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Director researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Fundraising Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Fundraising Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • The Davis Academy of Music is looking for an Event and Fundraising Co-Ordinator to schedule and plan events, as well as represent our organization to both current and potential clients. The Event and Fundraising Co-Ordinator will be responsible for the creating events for students at the academy as well as events for the public, renting spacing, responding to emails and phone calls, as well as meeting with potential donors to solicit funds for the growth of the academy.

    The successful candidate will have experience in planning events and fundraising.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and market events for the academy (both inward and outward facing).
    • Respond to email and phone requests to rent space within the academy.
    • Market and advertise classes and events at the academy.
    • Meet with potential donors to solicit funds for the growth of the academy (and setting up events to raise funds for scholarship and building funds).

    We are seeking those that are self-motivated and creative who want to work in the music industry providing music lessons to people of all ages.     Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month

    Schedule:

    • 4 hour shift
    • Evening shift
    • Weekends as needed
