Fundraising Director directs an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Leads donor stewardship and relations to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Director researches and identifies potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Director uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Fundraising Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Goddard School of South Windsor, CT is a unique and exciting, premier childcare program, specifically tailored for children from Infants to Pre-kindergarteners. We operate 12 months a year, and our focus is on early childhood development creating young, excited learners. This is a brand-new center, opening in Spring 2023.
We are seeking a dynamic and creative self-starter to join our team and lead this program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in early childhood education, preferably with a minimum of 3 years of management experience. There are endless opportunities for the creative mind to build our programming for young children. Job Requirements: This candidate will need a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field. Additionally, 3 years or more of management experience is preferred. Strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong working knowledge of technology is necessary to thrive in this role. The successful candidate will also be a collaborator, self-motivated, highly organized, prepared, and able to multitask. There is minimal travel for training.
