Fundraising Manager manages an organization's fundraising strategies, campaigns, capital development initiatives, and operations to support the overall organizational development and revenue objectives. Implements donor stewardship programs to identify, develop, retain, and nurture a portfolio of individual and institutional donors. Being a Fundraising Manager works to develop potential corporate or governmental partnerships and grant funding opportunities. Creates collaborative coordination between staff and internal stakeholders to plan events and communications to increase donor engagement. Additionally, Fundraising Manager uses technology to manage and monitor donor information and produce data-driven measurement and reporting of the progress of fundraising goals. The Manager, Fundraising System Support will work primarily with Signature and P2P event fundraising applications to support financial processing.
This position plays a critical role in JDRF's financial and data management including policy development, donation processing, donor acknowledgement, data entry, and data integration between fundraising applications, CRM, ERP, and third-party partners.
The Manager will manage two direct reports, and will ensure their assigned work is completed within an established set of service-level agreements (SLAs) with our Chapter leadership, National Development leadership, and third-party partners.
This position will work closely with the Finance, Technology and Resources teams to ensure timely and accurate event related entry and tracking and will foster and drive an environment of continuous improvement.
The Manager, Fundraising System Support will serve as the enterprise Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for policy development, financial transaction coding and processing of all event fundraising revenue streams for Chapters.
This position requires outstanding organizational skills, communication skills, customer service skills and business acumen.
