Gas Supply Manager manages the supply and purchase of natural gas to meet company needs. Negotiates contracts with approved sources to maintain adequate supply and ensure favorable terms. Being a Gas Supply Manager forecasts change in prices in order to maintain company fuel investments. Coordinates proper transportation and storage of gas supplies. Additionally, Gas Supply Manager maintains business relationships with suppliers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Gas Supply Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Gas Supply Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Train under the supervision of Senior Small Engine Mechanic and demonstrate proficiency in the following fields
- Manage all installation, repairs, and maintenance.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine the proper solution
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Keep a record of services, prepare an inventory of stock, and order consumable parts for equipment repair.
- Keep the shop clean and orderly
- Ensure that all customer questions are answered.
- Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Duties and responsibilities- Provide service and customer service for equipment repair
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Troubleshooting the equipment
- Advising customers on how to use the equipment
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- Protects fellow employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
- To contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities:· Knowledgeable in general welding equipment· Skills and ability to directly interface with all members of the workforce and management.· Strong Commitment to Customer Service including positive Professional Verbal and non-verbal Communication Skills. Able to properly interact with customers of all backgrounds.· Strong Time Management Skills, ability to prioritize; complete tasks and assignments promptly, and to seek additional projects and opportunities in down times.· Self-motivated, ability to follow direction and continue training.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.· Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.· Stand for long periods.· Bend or twist their body.· Repeat the same movements.· Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
