General Laborer performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, digging, and moving materials. Operates a variety of tools to complete assignments according to internal and external policies and regulations. Being a General Laborer assembles and disassembles machines, tools, and other work-related equipment. Assists engineers and a variety of other functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Additionally, General Laborer may require a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The General Laborer works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Receive instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, orderly work environment
- Operate equipment when directed.
- Ensure that all finished product meets quality standard.
- Ready and able to move 40 lbs multiple times per day.
About You
We Require:
- Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
- Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Willing and able to climb multiple stairs throughout the shift.
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
- Preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred - Experience operating a forklift.
