We are looking for versatile skilled General Laborers who will join our Scotts Miracle-Gro team. As our employee you will work on site at our manufacturing facility conducting multiple job tasks for completion of purchased orders requested located in Vance, AL 35490.
- Starting pay of $16 per hour or more depending on the job skill and shift
- 1st shift (6:00am to 3:00pm)
- 2nd shift (2:pm to 10:30pm---differential (if applicable)
- Length of job assignment varies on a few factors including performance
Forklift Experience not required but preferred
Assists with small bag line operations as needed
Maintain the finishing screens by scraping them to insure the product flows evenly.
Performs housekeeping duties to ensure the material does not accumulate under the conveyors, aisle ways and catwalks.
Operate Palletizing Machine
What you’ll do in this role:
Maintain the flow through the shakers by poking the material to break it up to prevent bridging
Informs the maintenance personnel of any equipment problems
Assists with restacking pallets and worksite clean-up as needed
Follow safety protocol and practices to ensure you and others are safe.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Steel-toed Boots
Work pants or jeans
Work Shirt (according to the weather)
Ability to work in a dusty environment (hot, cold, rainy)
