General Maintenance Worker jobs in Syracuse, NY

This is a part time position with opportunity for advancement to full time based on performance. The candidate must be reliable and flexible. Must be able to work as part of a team and work any time including evenings and weekends. The position requires skill sets in minor building and general maintenance. Some ideal skills include, but are not limited to: flooring, wall or ceiling repairs, interior construction or painting, lighting or electrical installation, plumbing, mechanical or equipment repair. This job requires that you are able to respond to weather related circumstances which might require removal of snow and debris. The responsibilities also include daily janitorial duties including, but not limited to: floor cleaning, restroom cleaning, emptying trash, assisting Marketing and other departments with events or other assignments, and other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 35 per week
