    Job Description:

    As a Geologist at Complete Design, you will play a vital role in providing geotechnical and environmental expertise to our projects. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and surveyors, you will contribute to site evaluations, soil analysis, and geological assessments that inform our design and development processes. Your insights and findings will contribute to the successful execution of projects spanning various industries.


    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct geotechnical investigations, soil sampling, and laboratory testing to assess site conditions and inform foundation design.
    • Perform geological assessments, including slope stability analysis, subsurface exploration, and soil classification.
    • Collaborate with project teams to interpret geological data and provide recommendations for construction and development.
    • Conduct environmental site assessments to identify potential contamination and remediation strategies.
    • Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, including soil profiles, bearing capacity analyses, and geotechnical recommendations.
    • Support engineering and architectural design by providing geological input for infrastructure and building projects.
    • Engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address geotechnical and environmental concerns.
    • Stay informed about industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies in geology.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional Geologist (PG) Washington State license or ability to obtain.
    • Proven experience in geotechnical investigations, site assessments, and soil analysis.
    • Familiarity with geotechnical software and modeling tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
    • Previous experience in an architectural, engineering, or land surveying firm is a plus.
