Position Description:

Alpine Land Information Services is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our team and take on a range of responsibilities related to our reforestation information management services. This is an on-site position located in Redding, California. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for problem-solving, expertise in industrial forest management, data management, and a keen eye for interpreting imagery. Your daily tasks will encompass technical GIS updates, proficient database management, and effective communication with the team. Desirable candidate:

• Forestry background with an emphasis on reforestation and or silviculture.
• Possess a strong knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of GIS applications, design, database management, and experience with current versions of ESRI software or Q-GIS.
• Possess a 2-year degree in Forestry (SAF accredited preferred) and or GIS.
• A person with an aspiration and the dedication to make Forestry & GIS their next career choice.
