GIS Supervisor jobs in West Fargo, ND

As a GIS Specialist, you will create, design, and implement systems and data to store and access spatial data sets. You will work independently to perform most projects with general result expectations. You will receive technical guidance on unusual or complex aspects of assignments. You will work with ArcGIS Pro/Desktop to edit and analyze data, create design layouts, and publish and manage hosted services. As the ideal candidate, you will have a solid foundational understanding of spatial principles and core GIS competencies; you can work with complex data sets and apply creative solutions to challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Combination of Education & Experience:
  • Associate's Degree & 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor's Degree & 2 years of experience
  • Master's Degree
  • Six years of experience
    • Acceptable fields of focus may include but not be limited to Geography, Cartography, Engineering, Planning, or Surveying.
• Arc/GIS Pro/Desktop
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a team atmosphere is vital
• The capability of supervising, and mentoring staff
