Job Description:

Gatsby Glass-Boise is seeking a full-time Lead Glazier to join our team. We install custom glass projects for contractors, homeowners, and businesses. We are looking for an individual that has experience as a Lead Glazier. 

Compensation: $27/hr.-$35/hr. depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct installations, upgrades, and additions for glass shower doors, enclosures, railings, mirrors, countertops, and other projects.
• Be willing to instruct and mentor junior glaziers on proper methods to assist in the installation process.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support and consultation with clients while on jobsite.
• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools) with the warehouse team.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Call and work with homeowners and contractors to confirm appointments and installations.
• Load and unload supplies and materials for the day’s installs.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Must have a strong work ethic, be detail oriented, maintain a positive attitude and complete other projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Lead Glazier
• Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels.
• Good with hands and tools
• Basic understanding of math and fractions.
• Ability to read drawings and / or instructions and install accordingly is a big plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to clear a pre-employment screening.
• Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to always be learning.
• Prefer full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5), but willing to be flexible for the right person.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

• Work in sometimes difficult positions such as with ladders, and above ceilings.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 100 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended time periods.
