Glazier jobs in Enid, OK
Glazier installs glass in windows, skylights, store fronts, and display cases, or on surfaces such as building fronts, interior walls, ceilings, and tabletops. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Glazier may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Glazier relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - Select, cut, install, and remove all types of glass products for both residential and commercial properties in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
- Safely replace glass in home windows, glass mirrors, and bathtub enclosures in accordance with Company standards and procedures.
- Record all time spent working on jobs.
- Provide quotes to customers regarding repetitive business.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Working experience in glazing
- Can read & interpret blueprints
- Fabricate & install metal storefronts and heavy glass
- Working knowledge of all aspects of the commercial/residential glass business
- Knowledge of all OSHA construction jobsite requirements.
- Experience with frameless shower installation
