Your natural drive for success combined with great relationship-building skills and the ability to think strategically while creating systems and processes, will allow you to shine in this role. You will be tasked with growing our partner carrier base as well as negotiating with carriers in order to secure capacity for client demand. Additionally, you will be required to master the analysis of the transportation market, assist with the quoting process by assessing target rates, and manage the shipment lifecycle.

What you’re expected to do:
- Understand and analyze North American transportation market
- Negotiate pricing with vendors
- Match client demand with market supply
- Follow the onboarding process for new motor carriers
- Build positive relationships and rapport through daily and direct carrier contact
- Assist Carrier Sales Manager in daily job functions
- Communicate with dispatch, drivers, and other parties to ensure freight moves in a timely manner
- Effective application and usage of various software and technology
- Manage shipment lifecycle through our transportation management system (TMS)
