The Global Mobility Manager establishes, implements, and maintains policies and practices for assisting employees and their families as they relocate. Manages the employee relocation process, which may include but is not limited to sale of current residence, lease cancellation, home purchase or rental, realtor selection, mortgage assistance, and movement of household goods. Being a Global Mobility Manager approves relocation budgets and plans and the disbursement of funds. Works to minimize relocation costs and disruption of work for the employee and the organization. In addition, Global Mobility Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Global Mobility Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Description:

    The Global Category Manager role will create and deploy the integrated category strategies and the associated strategic sourcing and commercial activities, ensuring adequate levels of contractual coverage with the aim of mitigating commercial risk, optimising commercial advantage, providing security of supply and acceptable levels of liability. Where designated, you will lead the strategic relationship(s) at a senior level creating value and competitive advantage. You will coach and mentor talent in your area to further develop strategic sourcing capability and oversee the prioritisation and delivery of procurement activity maximising value for our customers.

    A key element of this role will be to work with local stakeholder groups across a number of key categories ensuring that category strategies and sourcing projects meet the requirements captured and are fit for purpose and that both the local and global supply chain is optimised accordingly.

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Supplier Relationships - Where designated, responsible for the effective top to top management and strategic direction of partners and suppliers.

    • Cost Management - Lead long term cost improvement in all relevant activities in line with business plans, including leveraging cost reductions across category group strategic spend commodities / categories.

    • Strategic Sourcing - Where designated, responsible for planning and leading sourcing and commercial activities to maximise the value proposition across all major commodities / categories. Will remain current with market trends through relationships with suppliers and market experts and ensure preferred suppliers have plans to gain access to emerging and developed markets.

    • Strategy - Develop, deploy and communicate relevant integrated commodity /category / supplier strategies, providing a clear vision and strategic framework for the designated supply chain(s). Work collaboratively, as part of a highly skilled cross functional teams to ensure that strategies meet the needs of current and future manufacturing programmes.

    • Quality and Delivery - Where designated, select a supply chain capable of meeting quality and delivery requirements and ensuring the management and rectification of quality.

    • Processes and Procedures - Lead the team's compliance to company policies, processes and procedures, ensuring all purchasing records and documentations are correct and maintained in line with regulatory requirements.

    • Resource Management - Where designated, will lead the recruitment, line management and capability development of strategic sourcing team members.

    • Stakeholder Management - Nurture effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the function in order to integrate functional priorities.

    • Supplier Code of Conduct - Responsible for understanding supplier obligations contained in the Global Supplier Code of Conduct and addressing any supplier compliance concerns through direct action or escalation.

    Key Experience and Qualifications:

    • BA degree or equivalent or significant industry experience.

    • Ideally MCIPs qualified or equivalent.

    • Has a proven track record of delivering results.

    • Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working.

    • Familiarity with procurement and supply chain management preferred.
