The Global Mobility Manager establishes, implements, and maintains policies and practices for assisting employees and their families as they relocate. Manages the employee relocation process, which may include but is not limited to sale of current residence, lease cancellation, home purchase or rental, realtor selection, mortgage assistance, and movement of household goods. Being a Global Mobility Manager approves relocation budgets and plans and the disbursement of funds. Works to minimize relocation costs and disruption of work for the employee and the organization. In addition, Global Mobility Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Global Mobility Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:
The Global Commodity Manager leads and supports development, implementation, and management of sourcing strategies that optimize supplier partnerships, drive performance objectives, and provide optimal flexibility, quality, delivery and lowest TCO. They deliver value and competitive advantage as measured by customer satisfaction, project execution, value improvement, innovation, and risk mitigation. They build relationships with suppliers; plan, execute and finalize sourcing strategies for product and manufacturing operations; work closely with stakeholders to identify and execute potential opportunities that drive value. They drive strategy development, cost management/reduction targets, and coordinate sourcing activities to support project initiatives. They work with teams to create an efficient and innovative partnership across all functions and levels. They are responsible for $50M-$60M direct spend.
