Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Product Manager on our Global Professional team.

The Associate Product Manager assists the Global Professional Product Management team in performing day-to-day tasks that contribute to completing projects. Acts as the liaison between the Product Management Team, Sourcing and Manufacturing to ensure all projects are on schedule and move forward according to the plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Organize market research and focus groups to find information competitor information with the category and determine trends for promotional or limited-edition products to determine the correct target audience among other important factors. Performs market research on pricing to find trends or gaps in the market.
2. Collaborate with engineering, graphic design and manufacturing during product development to ensure that packaging is conveying the appropriate message to the customer based on the target audience and company goals.
3. Maintains manufacturing, packaging and obsolescence product change notifications
4. Manages and updates all product instruction booklets, compliance standards, patents and artwork verification for Wahl Professional's current portfolio and new product.
5. Manages and updates Salsify on a consistent and timely basis to ensure Product information is current and readily available for all Wahl Professional employees.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
• 1-2 years related work experience
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Working knowledge of mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference as well as application of fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
• Must have strong communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize tasks
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to travel to customer meetings and trade events
• Ability to effectively collaborate with people of diverse backgrounds at different levels of the organization.
• Ability to model the Company's values of respect for people, teamwork and continuous improvement.
