Moundbuilders Country Club (“MCC”) is a private country club and is changing locations to an 18-hole golf course currently known as the Trout Club. MCC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to oversee the upgrade, maintenance and care of the golf course. The Superintendent will manage the overall condition and appearance of the golf course to ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests. This is a full-time, year-round position located in Newark, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise all aspects of golf course maintenance, including turf care, irrigation, and landscaping.
• Develop and implement agronomic programs to ensure the health and playability of the course.
• Work with a golf course architect on projects involving remodeling and upgrading the course, including, but limited to, installation of an irrigation system, building bunkers, re-routing holes, rebuilding tees and greens and changing current fairway and rough turf types.
• Manage and lead a team of groundskeepers, providing training and performance oversight.
• Oversee the daily operation and upkeep of equipment, including repairs and replacements.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Licensed for mixing and application of chemicals and commercial products preferred but not required.
• Ability to have open and continued communication with MCC Board, General Manager and Golf Professional.

The GM position will be offered a competitive salary based on experience, along with health insurance and vacation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
