Golf Superintendent - Assistant assists the Superintendent in the overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Overview
Established in 2002, Toddy Brook Golf Course is one of Maine’s “must play” public golf courses. This par 71 course features five sets of tees, rolling hills, elevation drops of up to 150 feet, plenty of water and some of the best greens in the state, and presents a great round of golf for all level of players. Essential Responsibilities
Assist the head professional with managing the golf operation, junior golf, merchandising, staff training, tournament & league management and greeting & checking in customers. We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent customer service skills and works well within a team environment.
