Golf Superintendent - Assistant assists the Superintendent in the overall maintenance and care of the golf course, including turf/grass management, irrigation, and chemical applications (e.g., fertilizer, pesticides) to ensure quality playing conditions. Supervises personnel and participates in the maintenance of the golf course tees, greens, fairways, and cart paths. Being a Golf Superintendent - Assistant ensures adherence to golf course maintenance budget and capital plans. May serve in the Superintendent's capacity during absence. Additionally, Golf Superintendent - Assistant may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a golf course superintendent. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. The Assistant Superintendent of Business Operations directs the strategic management of the district's daily business operations in support of its schools. Oversees the areas of finance, custodial services, transportation, maintenance, nutrition, talent and development, and information technology. Serves as a key contributor on the Superintendent's Senior Leadership Team to provide leadership to the district.
Graduation from and accredited college or university with a master’s degree in public administration, business administration, management or a closely related field plus a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a top operations position in a corporate or public sector environment, overseeing functions such as facilities management, operations or equivalent is preferred. Public education experience preferred. Doctorate degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Management, or closely related field preferred.
