The Assistant aids the Director of Agronomy and management team in maintaining and operating the golf course in an efficient, modern, and competitive state. Responsibilities also include delegating work assignments, overseeing job performance, and inspecting daily course conditions. Irrigation repair and scheduling, as well as chemical and fertilizer applications are also primary components of this position.
REPORTS TO: The Assistant Superintendent works under the direction of the Director of Agronomy, Superintendent, and in some instances the Equipment Manager in a supervisory capacity.
