Government Compliance Manager plans and directs the government compliance function; provides corporate-wide focus for efforts relating to compliance with government procurement laws and regulations. Includes oversight responsibility for government contract compliance audit and training functions. Being a Government Compliance Manager establishes policy on a variety of procurement matters, including government accounting, government property and independent research and development issues. Develops and maintains the company's compliance risk management program to manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines requirements and benchmarking research, facilitating the systematic assessment and management of compliance risks. Additionally, Government Compliance Manager ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley. Requires a master's/law degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Government Compliance Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Site Safety Manager to join our team on a construction project in Phoenix AZ. The Construction Site Safety Manager will represent our client, an electrical contractor, and will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all construction site personnel and the general public, as well as compliance with all applicable safety regulations and industry best practices.
    Responsibilities:


    • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, policies, and procedures.
    • Conduct daily safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
    • Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and accidents, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
    • Provide safety training to all site personnel, including new hires and subcontractors.
    • Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and follow safety policies and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including training records and incident reports.
    • Coordinate with project management to ensure that safety considerations are integrated into all aspects of the project.
    • Collaborate with local regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
    • Act as a liaison between the project team and local regulatory agencies on safety-related matters.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • OSHA 500, OSHA 510 or equivalent certifications
    • CHST preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management.
    • Knowledge of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
    • Experience conducting safety inspections, investigations, and training.
    • Strong communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
