Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator operates a specially equipped tractor to gouge out, level, and distribute earth. Prepares land for constructing roads and buildings. Being a Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. May have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Grader, Bulldozer, and Scraper Operator is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. The Kearney Companies is looking for a few good dozer operators. We need both finish and rough operators, but you must have actual day-to-day seat time and pass a field test. Our operators typically put in between 50-60 hours per week, 10-16 of which is overtime at time and a half. We offer competitive pay - based on experience and how well you do on the field test.
