We are currently hiring a Cleaning Specialist to join our team and make a significant and positive impact in the lives of our residents at Rumford Island Housing.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitize designated areas, including but not limited to restrooms, offices, common areas, and kitchens

- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment

- Vacuum carpets and mop floors

- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners

- Refill soap dispensers, paper towel holders, and other supplies as needed

- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the property manager

- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety

- Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies is maintained at the site

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required

- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Good communication skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed

- Reliable transportation to and from work

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
