Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their vehicle service needs and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and assist them with drop off and pick up for vehicle maintenance and repairs

- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues

- Provide accurate and detailed estimates for automotive repairs and services

- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs

- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed

- Process customer payments and maintain accurate records of transactions

- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

- Previous experience in automotive sales, auto service management, or related field preferred

- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, including brake repair, engine repair, tire service, etc. is encouraged but not required

- Excellent sales and customer service skills

- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner

- Proficient computer skills for generating estimates and maintaining customer records

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Note: This is a paid position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Day range:

• Monday to Friday

Shift:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• No nights

Work Location: In person
