Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing the workflow of automotive service repairs. Your knowledge of automotive mechanics and excellent communication skills will ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our customers. Duties: - Greet customers and assist them with their automotive service needs - Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues - Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and associated costs - Schedule appointments and manage the workflow of service repairs - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and invoices - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed work - Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire service process Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role as a Service Writer or in automotive service management is preferred - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems - Familiarity with auto body repair, brake repair, and alignment procedures - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers - Proficient computer skills for data entry and record keeping - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment If you are passionate about the automotive industry, have strong customer service skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, we would love to hear from you.
