ODK Media, Inc. is a media group headquartered in Fullerton, CA, United States that provides access to premium international content through its owned and operated streaming platforms, including OnDemandKorea, OnDemandChina, and OnDemandViet. It also distributes content to global streaming services, cable operators, and movie theaters, serving as the Asian media hub for AAPI communities across the country.

We are currently looking for a Visual and Graphic Design Intern to join our growing team, who will be responsible for working alongside our seniors and associate visual designers in creating multiple visual design projects. This is a non-paid opportunity and eligible for applicable college credit.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Content Operation and Marketing creatives to completion as required for a multitude of project types, including content poster designs, marketing sale promotions, and brand campaigns
• Maintain high skill levels in design software programs required to perform assigned job functions

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in graphic design with an online portfolio 
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Advertising, Illustration. or related field of study is preferred
• Proficiency in design program tools, including Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop, to retouch and manipulate images

• Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred

• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, design composition, and other graphic design/illustration fundamentals
• Understanding of digital and print requirements for formatting
• Experience in video production (edits or motion design) is a plus
• Ability to execute assignments on time and make revisions to meet changing needs and requirements
• Collaboration skills with team members to develop design concepts
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
• Must be able to be fully onsite in Fullerton office Monday through Friday
• Love for Korean and Asian content 
• Positive attitude and good sense of humor
