Overview

Avalon is looking for a full-time, in-house Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have strong design skills with 1-3 years of experience. This role will report to the Art Director and work closely with fellow Graphic Designers and Sales teams to develop content and campaigns that help us hit our business goals and further brand awareness.

We're looking for someone who is creative and conceptual. You've got to be able to think big picture but still care about the nuances of a typeface. You'll need to feel comfortable working in a fast-paced and creative environment, where print and digital work hand in hand.

Responsibilities

• Create inspiring content that is on-brand and helps tell the Avalon story
• Partner with Art Director, Graphic Designers, and Developers on day-to-day creative updates for both print and web
• Develop digital and print brand presentations
• Translate marketing objectives into an effective design by applying an understanding of visual storytelling and communication hierarchy

Job Type: Full time, In-House. 

Qualifications

• BA in Graphic Design or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Graphic Design role
• Proficiency with Adobe CC - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of design fundamentals (typography, composition, layout, color, etc.)
• Knowledge of Responsive UI and web design trends
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with a positive approach and attitude
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills solid work ethic
• Digital illustration experience a plus!
