RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering our clients with timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.

Graphic Design Technician

The main function of a graphic designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical graphic designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for pioneering UI solutions, Motion Graphics, and other graphic solutions
• UI Development concepts and in engine, Motion Graphic Development for marketing support, and other graphic content.
• Utilize Maya, Unity and other Adobe products to create content. 
• Create designs with intention
• Build animations for product groups based on need
• Plan and implement new designs
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Test for intuitively and experience
• Communicate with customers to understand their business goals and objectives
• Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
• Create prototypes for new product ideas

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or similar
• 1-3 years experience required
• Creativity, verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving ability are required.
• Intermediate ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design.
• Previous experience generating new images.
• Experience with Adobe publishing and graphics software required
