Grinder operates grinding machines to assemble products and product parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments to grind angles, contours, lines, spheres, etc. on to surfaces. Being a Grinder requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Grinder works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. What You'll Do as: Grinder
Grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts
Select and mount grinding pads on hand grinders
Fill in cracks and blemishes with bondo
Maintain a clean work area
Perform all other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Work ExperiencePreferred Candidate Might:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Physical stamina
- Time management skills
