Cascade Pump company is a manufacture of large industrial pumps and has been in business fir over 75 years. As a Welder you will be responsible for welding Flanges to Columns, base plates, and fitting Elbows to columns/pedal tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate handheld pneumatic and electric grinders.
• remove weld splatter.
• trim, file, grind, de-burr, sand, and smooth metal surfaces.
• Surface grind/sand various metal parts for the assembly department.
• Dynamic balancing
• Will, need to work while wearing protective gear; gloves, goggles, head coverings, and a face mask.

Skills Required:

• Ability to grind vertical, flat and overhead welds and surfaces.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate handheld power grinding and sanding equipment.
• Effectively follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to use overhead crane and various lifting devices such as slings and chain hooks.
