Group Branch Manager manages a specific industry vertical group and/or geographic area of branches. Accountable for group's financial performance. Being a Group Branch Manager establishes goals and performance levels for specified branches according to goals set by the organization. Ensures branches have the tools and personnel needed to meet goals. Additionally, Group Branch Manager monitor financial and customer activity and report results. Branch group's loans and deposits are generally less than $500MM. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Group Branch Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.
