Group Branch Manager manages the financial and service performance of a defined group of retail branches in a geographic area. Establishes the strategy, specific goals, and performance levels required for each branch to meet the organizational objectives for the region. Being a Group Branch Manager monitors and analyzes financial and customer activity to understand needs, identify issues, and provide the tools and resources needed to achieve goals. Leads business development and promotional activities in the area and coaches branch managers in tactics to build customer relationships, increase sales, and enhance the bank's presence in the community. Additionally, Group Branch Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group Branch Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Group Branch Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Description

    PCI is seeking an experienced Branch Safety Supervisor/Manager for its Masthead Rigging and Crating operations based in Phoenix, AZ. This individual will report to the General Manager and Corporate Regional Safety Manager to provide leadership and direction on all Safety matters, including measuring and evaluation the effectiveness of the safety program and making and recommending modifications as needed to achieve established safety goals and objectives.

     

    This position is responsible for the following duties:

    • Assist the branch with implementing and administering the PCG and client accident prevention plans, policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that the company and client safety reports, statistics and documentation are submitted in a timely manner.
    • Provide safety technical expertise and support to the branch.
    • Promote safety and safe work practices.
    • Assist in the investigation of work-related injuries, illnesses and near-miss incidents.
    • Enforce corrective action to prevent the recurrence of hazardous conditions or behaviors.
    • Practice timely and accurate accident reporting.
    • Review all accidents and investigation reports.
    • Act as liaison between the company and client as it relates to site safety management.
    • Assist in identifying, correcting and mitigating routine and non-routine safety and health hazards.
    • Council and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies and procedures.
    • Serve as a safety resource for employees.
    • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential safety health hazards.
    • Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate the level of compliance.
    • Establish branch and project safety goals.
    • Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
    • Provide comprehensive monthly reports to Corporate Regional Safety Manager.

    Requirements

    • OSHA 500
    • CHST or other BCSP Credentials a plus
    • OSHA, DOT, FMC, MSHA, EPA, Fossil Power, experience preferred
    • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English
    • Knowledge in production metal stud framing, GWB hanging, and ACT is a preferred
    • Good communication skills and ability to teach others
    • Proficient computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic demonstrated by experience
    • Ability to plan and organize assigned projects
    • Positive attitude and ability to work in team environment
    • Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught.
    • Able to work with clients and customers to build strong relationships
    • Work well under pressure and deadline
    • Ability to plan and organize your day as well as assigned projects
