Almac Group is currently seeking a Group Manager, Business Systems Adoption Group for our Durham, NC location. The Group Manager will be responsible for a global team that drives several key components of the product/solution software development life cycle along with product/solution support. This position provides for assignment to one or both of two key functions, Delivery and Support.For Delivery, they will lead a team that represents the needs of the business across functional areas to develop and maintain products/solutions that meet the needs of the business operation.For Support, they will lead a team who provide support and resolution for the products/solutions used as part of the business operation. Assignment between these two key functions will be done as the business deems appropriate.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures the delivery team collaborates with the business to explore and identify product/solution needs, define product/solution requirements, define and execute PQ tests and deliver business readiness tasks.
- Ensures the support team provides superior customer support to swiftly and accurately identify and resolve user issues in a high quality manner, while continuously improving supporting processes and procedures.
- Be responsible for all administrative management related functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and resource management. Ensures that administrative management efforts result in a highly functional team that personifies Almac's core values.
Qualifications:Required Experience / Education:- Bachelor’s degree OR 5 years Almac experience (to include Product Delivery, Support and/or Project Management)
- Proven substantial experience in the following areas:
- Product Delivery and Support experience for software solutions and systems
- Direct line management to include personnel administrative tasks, performance management, mentoring and coaching.
- Coordinating teams and activities across multiple functional areas particularly with operational business functions and IS teams.
- Gathering requirements, testing and validation of software solutions and systems.
- Managing and prioritizing roadmap / backlog changes for software solutions and systems
- Experience working directly with senior management.
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to perform in-depth business and system analysis.
- Ability to work independently to investigate and resolve problems.
- Ability to compile narrative reports of exceptional standard (in terms of both content and format)
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize tasks within a high volume, varied workload whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy in all work undertaken.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and influencing skills with a professional and flexible attitude.
- A passion for listening to customers and delivering world-class user experience.
- Mentoring and coaching, capable of fostering a climate of teamwork and development
Preferred Experience / Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Business, IT or equivalent field
- Master’s degree
- 3 years in Almac Clinical Services
- 3 years Clinical Trail experience
