Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) manages commercial lending activity for a designated market of the organization. Establishes and manages lending objectives, targets, strategies, and practices to achieve organizational financial, growth, and service goals. Being a Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) seeks out new business opportunities and develops strategies to expand existing business. Manages the maintenance and servicing of existing commercial loan portfolio. Additionally, Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal risk and operating policies and procedures. Builds a high-performance lending team with individual coaching and professional development opportunities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Group/Region Manager (Commercial Loans) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Commercial Employees is hiring a General Manager for a Mon Valley Industrial Recycling Company. You’ll lead a team that sorts, crushes, screens and processes industrial byproducts and converts them into products used by steel, glass and refractory companies east of the Mississippi. In this regular full-time General Manager position, your primary role is in leading and driving company Operations and Production.

    Specific General Manager Role and Responsibilities:
    • Regularly communicate and collaborate with the company President on items such as Production, Personnel, and overall company Operations
    • Identify client and company priorities in order to create and implement effective daily and weekly production schedules that meet current and future production needs
    • Track and measure productivity to ensure that quality and production requirements are met
    • Utilize strong Inventory Control and Management practices
    • Manage Employees and a range of employment matters
    • Staffing – Hiring, Evaluation, Training and Development
    • Manage employees in order to optimize Production, Safety and Efficiency.
    • Ensure proper staffing and manpower in order to meet company goals and requirements
    • Measure employee performance, attendance and process compliance and take appropriate actions in order to maintain production requirements and employee safety
    • Ensure strict Safety policies, practices and procedures including:
    • Personal Protective Equipment - PPE
    • Lock Out / Tag Out procedures
    • OSHA and MSDS compliance, including 300 Logs
    • Respirator Safety
    • Maintain clean work areas and operations
    • Dust collector infrastructure
    • Collaborate with Maintenance in order to ensure continual operations of company machines and equipment
    General Manager Background and Experience

    • 5 years of leadership and production experience is required
    • Relevant experience in Recycling or Material Processing is a definite plus
    • High school or equivalent is required

    Pay and Benefits for our General Manager hire:
    • Very competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and skills
