Continually enhances expertise in best practices, expanding knowledge and understanding of coverage forms, rating plans, and underwriting guidelines. Participates in the agency planning and review processes with sales and branch management. Essential Functions: Maintains and grows a profitable book of new and renewal business, within assigned territory and within underwriting authority, consistent with EMC’s Small Business Underwriting Strategy Applies knowledge and understanding of coverage forms, rating plans, and underwriting guidelines in the selection and pricing of individual risks, within underwriting authority Ensures adequate pricing through proper classification, accuracy of information, and makes data driven decisions in managing accounts Gathers, analyzes, and evaluates risk exposure through appropriate risk documentation Develops and fosters agency relationships within assigned territory Educates agents on EMC products, underwriting appetite, systems, and services Provides strong customer service, in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting expected service levels.
