Hand Compositor/Typesetters sets type by hand and machine. Assembles type and cuts in galley for printing articles, headings, and other printed matter. Being a Hand Compositor/Typesetters determines type size, style, and compositional pattern from work order. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Hand Compositor/Typesetters may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Yard Hand Details :
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07 : 00am to 03 : 30pm)
- Gathering, handling, and sorting tools, pipes, and other materials that aid in the rig's operations.
- Following your supervisor's instructions, moving and manipulating sections of piping as necessary.
Yard Hand Qualifications :
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Able to stand on feet for duration of shift.
- Able to work weekends if needed.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
