    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

     The Drop & Count Manager is responsible for overseeing aspects of the Count Room such as table games count, slot count, and other cash counts as assigned. Ensures compliance with gaming and company regulations in relations to the counts.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES: Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

    • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC • Ensures the integrity of all count transactions.• Assists in table games count and slot count and reconciling gaming revenue.• Prepares various reports, transfer sheets, reconciles all totals to the Soft Count Summary; forwards all information to appropriate individual(s).• Maintains a thorough, working knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations of the Gaming Commission, as well as company policies, procedures, and controls.• Manages team members of the Drop & Count department. Maintains all records, reports, and other required paperwork in the Drop & Count Department.• Conducts the necessary research to effectively resolve Count disputes.• Maintains protection of extremely large amounts of coin and/or currency, ensuring prevention loss by providing extreme care and attention to detail.• Ensures that procedures and proper controls are affected to protect counted receipts.• Ensures close control of all activity in the Count Rooms by maintaining an awareness of changes and/or problems, which may affect the security of the coin/currency in the Count Rooms.• Maintains visual and electronic surveillance of personnel, ensuring prevention of monetary loss.• Schedules Count Room personnel.• Observes count, reviews count slips, and reconciles total funds to ensure the integrity of the count.• Transfers receipts to the Casino Cage and the corresponding documentation to the Accounting department daily.• Supervises the count and packaging of coin/currency delivered to the Count Room from the bank at the order of the Casino Cage.• Orders and stock parts for equipment repair to ensure proper operation and maintenance of the equipment.• Facilitates the flow of information, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.• Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.• Ensures effective recruitment, hiring, training, recognition, coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately throughout assigned departments.• Facilitates and ensures that performance reviews of all employees within department are complete on a yearly basis.• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.• Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.

    A satisfactory combination of applicable experience and education may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.

    • Must be 21 years or older.• High school diploma. GED, or relevant experience.• Five (5) years of casino count room experience, with two (2) years in a supervisory capacity.• Extensive knowledge of state gaming regulations pertaining to casino operations.• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

    WORK HOURS: Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Team members must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
