Hard Tile Setter covers tabletops or other surfaces with mosaic tile squares to form decorative design. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Hard Tile Setter may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Hard Tile Setter relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. We are looking for motivated people of all skill levels with great attitudes, a willingness to learn, and the ablility to work well with others. You have on the job training by some of the most skilled tile artisans in the state! Must have a good knowledge of tools. Any knowledge of tile setting is a plus but not required.
Job Duties include
- hauling tile on job sites
- mixing thinsets and making cuts for tile setters
- cleaning and organizing job sites
- preping floor and walls
- grouting and caulking tile jobsApplicants must
- have good communication skills
- have reliable transportation
- have their own basic hand tools
- be able to pass a basic pre-employment physical and drug test
- be able to lift 80 lbs
- be able to work Monday through Friday. This is a full time position.
- be available to work all across the South East portion of the State.Wages start at $18.00 an hour and up based on experience. Regular raises will be available every 6 months based on development of skills. We offer full health and dental benefits to all full time employees as well as a company match retirement program after 90 days.
