Job Description:
V2X is seeking a Senior Hardware Quality Engineer (HQE) at our Indianapolis, IN location. The HQE will coordinate the activities required to meet quality standards and ensure products and services are fit for their intended purpose, meeting internal and external requirements and customer expectations. The HQE monitors and advises on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reports on performance and measures against set standards, implementing corrective actions and charting paths for improvement.
The HQE interacts with personnel at all levels, including customers, technical personnel, supplier quality and leadership to ensure that the quality system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the HQE will advise on changes in their implementation and provide training, tools, and techniques to enable others to achieve enhanced quality.
The HQE is responsible for the quality of work required by the contract. They will plan, organize, control, and execute quality tasks required under the contract, ensuring that work is completed in strict compliance with contractual provisions within a Quality Management System in accordance with the latest version of AS9001.
