Overview:
As a Full-Time Sales Associate in our Tools/Hardware Departments, you will play a vital role in the receipt, stocking, and pricing of merchandise. Your efforts will contribute to a tidy merchandise display and an overall well-maintained store appearance.
REQUIREMENTS:

Customer Engagement:
* Serve as a positive ambassador for Nyberg's ACE.
* Take proactive measures to assist customers in resolving challenges.
* Extend warm greetings to customers upon entry and throughout their store visit. Express gratitude when they
conclude their shopping experience.
* Demonstrate a friendly and approachable demeanor, fostering strong relationships with customers and fellow
associates.
* Prioritize prompt, courteous, and effective responses to pages and calls.
* Escalate any customer grievances that necessitate management intervention.
* Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of products and familiarity with store layout and item locations.
* Deliver personalized and tailored assistance to customers across the store, upholding the commitment to amaze
every customer on every occasion.
Operational Excellence:
* Contribute to a workplace culture defined by positivity, professionalism, and safety.
* Collaborate in tasks related to merchandise reception, verification, and stocking across the store.
* Aid in maintaining appropriate levels of inventory in the back stock area.
* Play a role in sustaining the daily tidiness, organization, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor
merchandise sections.
* Assist in presenting a meticulously orderly sales floor, including the arrangement of end caps and promotional
merchandise.
* Participate in merchandise resets throughout the store.
* Provide support to Department Specialists, including tasks such as implementing price changes and processing
special orders.
* Ensure that all signage throughout the store is current and accurate.
* Operate a forklift with proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
* Promptly report any Store Support Center issues to the Store Leaders for necessary follow-up.
* Contribute innovative merchandising, cost control, or sales improvement ideas to the Merchandising team
and/or Store Leaders.
* Actively participate in store meetings to foster effective communication and collaboration.
* Uphold a professional appearance and comportment at all times.
* Fulfill any other assigned duties with dedication and diligence.

Education/Training:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience:
Previous formal retail experience is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, nuts & bolts, and home hardware is highly advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
The role involves standing, walking, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and occasional climbing.
