Head Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) performs routine aircraft inspections and repairs and ensures that aircrafts are maintained in the highest state of mechanical condition possible. Has completed necessary trade school courses. Being a Head Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) typically requires an associate degree. Possesses necessary FAA Aircraft Mechanic Airframe and Power Plant Certificate. Additionally, Head Aircraft Mechanic (Jet) typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. - Must have 2 years or more of recent heavy structures experience / corporate or commercial jet
