    Summary of Job Duties:As an Assistant Athletics Trainer one must have knowledge of a large range of medical problems in order to assess, evaluate, and potentially refer student-athletes to other healthcare professionals. Tasks such as these also require critical and independent decision-making skills. This position requires a certain level of attention to detail along with effective communication skills in order to handle high stress situations. Just as importantly this job requires the ability to organize prioritize, and perform multiple tasks with little or no supervision and/or assistance.Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field required.

    NATA BOC Certification required

    Must be eligible for Arkansas licensure

    Current CPR/AED/First Aid for the Professional Rescuer certification (ARC or AHA)
