About Us: Warren County Head Start and Early Head Start are federally funded programs for pregnant women, children ages birth through 5 years old and their families. Our goal is to provide high-quality education and support, as early as pregnancy through the Preschool years to children, families and our community.

Qualifications:

• Home Based CDA Credential or Associates degree in Early Childhood or related field.
• Active driver’s license

Responsibilities:

• Works in the home with the parents to plan and provide enriching educational and social learning experiences.
• Provides family support through goal planning and referral. $18.00/hr.
• Conduct weekly 90-minute home visits to young children and their families and encourages joint planning for each child
• Carry out curriculum for child development in the context of the home and during play group experiences
• Collaborate with families to establish family development goals, and document this collaborative process in family partnership agreements
• Monitor and educate parents with respect to children’s health status, including medical follow-up, physical health, dental health, mental health, and nutritional intake
• Establishes working relationships with local health providers, dental providers and community partners
