    The Position Available is for an Athlete Performance Coach (APC) For our Athlete Academy.

    Current Hiring need: Baseball or Basketball Specialist.

    MISSION & PURPOSE: The goal of Champion’s Quest and the Athlete Performance Coach is to assure that we help every athlete we can and that every enrolled athlete achieves his or her full potential – physically, technically, and mentally. This position is critical in accomplishing our goal by mentoring, managing and instructing athletes in a positive and professional manner. We believe that accomplishing our goal in this way will lead to the success of our athletes, the satisfaction of our athletes’ parents, and the personal and financial fulfillment of our staff.

    ROLE SUMMARY: Our Staff is responsible for the following general functions; 1) provide all Champion’s Quest Athletes a successful, effective and fun performance improvement experience that is based on our philosophy, practices, and curriculum (College Recruiting, Mental Toughness, Physical Performance & Technical Sports Skills), 2) support of our Mission to help every young athlete we can by actively “spreading the word” about the great work you and your peers do at Champion’s Quest (Academy Growth), 3) contribute to, and support, the positive development of Champion’s Quest coaching practices through idea generation, continuous education, and Champion’s Quest in-house training, 4) adhere to work availability schedule and hours.

    Our athletes are 7-18 years old, enroll through the entire year and most have the goal of playing in college. We have sent 300 athletes to college sports to date! We are growing so we need to grow our professional staff to help more athletes accomplish their goals as well. We are currently looking for coaches with a kinesiology/psych/science type (preferred) degree who are past NCAA athletes that can specialize in Advising Youth Athletes.

    **Outgoing personality with an entrepreneurial spirit is a must (as our comp plan supports these traits).

    An APC is a strength and conditioning coach that 1)Programs & coaches athletes in mental, physical & technical performance, 2)Manages and advises families in short term and long term athletic planning and 3)Supports our Academy's social purpose mission by actively recruiting athletes into the Academy.

    Part Time Note: If an applicant is new to this unique field or already coaching part time, there are part-time assistant coach opportunities to build experience and work your way to a full-time position on our team of professionals. This career opportunity is a part time progressing to full time position.

    ***Our primary sports of our current enrolled athletes are: Soccer, baseball, softball, basketball, football, baseball, softball, lacrosse, tennis. Please apply if the college sport you played is one of those listed***

    Mandatory Requirements (Do not apply if any of these requirements don't apply to you):

    • Outgoing/Extroverted personality is a must.


    • Degree in coaching, human performance, kinesiology, psychology or similar science is recommended.


    -NCAA Athlete while attending college is a must.

    • Obtainment of NSCA-CSCS Certification, NASM-PES or USA-W (Or within 90 days of hire) is a must.


    • Strong Desire to have a career and expert positioning in the local sports community (We are not looking for hour by hour or job minded staff)


    -The candidate is looking for a place to call home for 10 years and has a desire to earn their way to a compensation $40K -> above $80K/year. Facility expansion and multiple facilities are on the horizon.
