Head Coach (Minor Sport) oversees all activities of a minor athletic team. Plans and directs training of student athletes, and assesses individuals' abilities and skill level to determine appropriate team position. Being a Head Coach (Minor Sport) analyzes opposition team performance and capabilities and determines game strategy. Assists players in reaching highest athletic potential possible through athletic training and leadership skills. Additionally, Head Coach (Minor Sport) must be familiar with NCAA rules and regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree in the related area. Typically reports to a institutional officer. Head Coach (Minor Sport) is a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group.     Our F45 family is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and charismatic Head Trainer. F45 Trainers play a fundamental role within the team and company culture as they lead our classes, working closely with each individual member providing the ultimate F45 experience. As an F45 Head Trainer, you will manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers as well as run group training sessions, assess member fitness levels, build a community that keeps our members coming back every day and promote the F45 brand throughout our market area.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for managing all aspects of the F45 Athletics Staff and Athletic Operations of the F45 Studio
    • Manage the team of full-time and part-time trainers using the F45 Methodology 
    • Promote an energetic environment and create a culture of family at F45
    • Inspire members to fully utilize all F45 resources to achieve personal fitness goals
    • Conduct in-person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
    • Focus on membership acquisition and retention, including conducting referral/lead generation activities
    • Setup the studio for specific functional training classes
    • Ensure the studio is impeccably maintained
    • Participate in the monthly F45 Athletics webinars
    • Conduct weekly and monthly meetings with the coach's team to go over new F45 phases
    • Ensure coaches are following opening and closing procedures
    • Conduct studio tours
    • Answering phone calls
    • Help with membership sales
    • Organize events (Member Socials, Challenges, marketing) 
    • Recruit, hire, train and deliver the onboarding program for all staff
    • Maintain and grow the total membership base and oversee all aspects of the membership sales process
    • Increase studio conversion rate and achieve client retention goals
    • Drive client referral program
    • Maintain top-notch cleanliness, appearance, and organization of the studio and inventory
    • Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism to both clients and internal staff
    • Ensure studio branding by adhering to company guidelines and values
    • Maintain strong working knowledge of our small-group training programs by participating in at least two (2) training sessions per week
    • Manage and oversee all day-to-day operations and overall studio performance. 
    • Coach a min of 15 Classes per week. 
     
    Qualifications:
    • 3-year minimum experience as a personal fitness trainer
    •  Must hold a current fitness certification from an F45-approved education entity as followed; ACE (American Council on Exercise), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association)
    •  Must have CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Ability to develop strong relationships with members
    • Solid knowledge of biomechanics and exercise physiology
    • Motivated and passionate about health and fitness
    • Reliable and punctual with excellent attention to detail
    • Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and afternoons
