Being a Head Golf Professional coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Golf Augusta is a full service golf retail store in Southern Pines. We are looking for an applicant interested learning the golf retail business and working under our PGA professionals. Job responsibilities can include any and all aspects of the business -- customer service, operations, ordering, receiving, lessons, driver and iron fittings, club repair, and finance. The job can be full time or part time, with some flexible hours. Sales commissions can be made for golf fittings and golf lessons.
