Ensures golf facilities are properly maintained. Being a Head Golf Professional coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Description :
We are looking for a certified PGA Teaching Professional to join the X-Golf Glen Carbon team. In this role you will be responsible for building and executing an expansive coaching and lessons program providing a unique game improvement experience in a simulator environment.
Primary responsibilities will include overseeing the golf experience for year-round golf leagues and tournaments, private parties, corporate events and more.
Additional responsibilities will be assisting the general manager in overseeing the facility, including kitchen and bar, and supervising employees.
