Head Golf Professional is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations and services of the golf course, including the golf shop, tournaments, practice facilities, and cart fleet. Ensures golf facilities are properly maintained. Being a Head Golf Professional coordinates marketing programs to promote the facility's services to potential customers and oversees member events and daily play. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Head Golf Professional requires an active Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) membership. Typically reports to a golf course general manager. The Head Golf Professional manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Head Golf Professional typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Overview
Established in 2002, Toddy Brook Golf Course is one of Maine’s “must play” public golf courses. This par 71 course features five sets of tees, rolling hills, elevation drops of up to 150 feet, plenty of water and some of the best greens in the state, and presents a great round of golf for all level of players. Toddy Brook also offers a driving range with grass tees, practice putting green, and a fully stocked golf shop.

Essential Responsibilities
Assist the head professional with managing the golf operation, junior golf, merchandising, staff training, tournament & league management and greeting & checking in customers. We are looking for a motivated individual who has excellent customer service skills and works well within a team environment.
