Responsibilities:
· Provide psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis for patients 2 to 21 years old
· Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating both psychotherapy and medication management strategies.
· Conduct regular follow-up appointments to monitor treatment progress, adjust medications, and provide ongoing support.
· Collaborate with primary care providers and therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
· Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
· Stay current with advances in psychiatric research, pharmacotherapy, and psychotherapeutic modalities through continuing education and professional development.
This is primarily an in-person position with the option for telehealth.
Requirements:
· Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatry.
· Board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
· State licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
· Demonstrated proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and formulating treatment plans.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
· Commitment to providing non-judgmental, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care.
· Dedication to ethical practice, patient advocacy, and ongoing quality improvement.
